Bursary Support for ICRR 2019

Some of the ICRR member societies will be offering bursaries and support for delegate attending ICRR 2019. Please find the details below.


European Radiation Research Society – Young Investigator Award 2019:

Eligibility Criteria

– Less than or equal to 35 years of age
– If PhD: less than or equal to 3 years postdoctoral experience
– November 2018


Applicants must submit:

– abstract(s) of the work to be presented at the ICRR 2019 at Manchester, UK
– supporting letter from their supervisor(s) or head of laboratory/department;
– a short curriculum vitae (max. 1 page);
a completed application form
– All files to submit to the ERRS secretariat: err_secretariat@sckcen.be

Association for Radiation Research – SIT (Scientists in Training) / Travel Bursaries ICRR 2019:

(10 awards available for each category) 

Eligibility Criteria: SITs

  • Within 5 years post PhD award
  • ARR member in good standing – (If not ARR member, 2 years’ fee to be deducted from award)

Applicants must submit:

  • Abstract(s) of the work to be presented at the ICRR 2019 at Manchester, UK
    • please indicate if accepted for oral or poster presentation
  • Supporting letter from their supervisor(s) or head of laboratory/department;
    • not required for full member travel bursaries
  • A short curriculum vitae (max. 1 page);
